Participating in The Presidents Council’s biannual Regional Black Business Conference

Foundation Transportation participated in The Presidents Council’s biannual Regional Black Business Conference, “Obligation If Not Opportunity, The Time Is Now” on September 16th in Cleveland.

The event promotes discussion and brings together all those who share in the Presidents Council’s mission of closing gaps that negatively impact minority communities.

Attendees heard ideas from candidates running for mayor of the City of Cleveland, Justin Bibb, and Kevin Kelley, and expanded business knowledge in various breakout sessions. Foundation Transportation also handled transportation needs for keynote speaker Maggie Anderson, author of “Our Black Year” and founder of The Empowerment Experiment.

Our company was pleased to help Mrs. Anderson bring her story of perseverance and hope for economic empowerment and the goal of collectively supporting locally-owned businesses.

Nominated For The 2021 John H. Bustamante Emerging Entrepreneur Award

Prior to the conference, The Presidents Council nominated Foundation Transportation President Karl Singleton for ‘The 2021 John H. Bustamante Emerging Entrepreneur Award’ in recognition of community service and customer satisfaction in the greater Cleveland area.

We extend congratulations to Emerging Entrepreneur Award recipient Urban Kutz Barber Shops’ owner Waverly Willis, as well as the 2021 PCBC Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award winner LaRese Purnell, co-founder and managing partner of CLE Consulting Firm.

We Proudly Support Locally Owned Businesses

Foundation Transportation will continue supporting locally-owned businesses as a partner with The Presidents Council in celebration of 25 years of creating champions and shares the vision of tangible onsite resources, business-to-business connections, and access to funding opportunities.
